Can you search for people on facebook by their email?

i only know somebody's email address and i want to find this person on facebook.. can i?

first add the person's email to your email's contact list


then go to facebook and click on friends %26gt;%26gt; find friends


enter your email address and its password, then facebook will automatically search all contacts saved in your email address and see whether they have facebook or not
Reply:In the search box type their email address in the box if it is the email address they use for facebook. If not you can only search by their name. Hope this helps

Just type the e-mail address in the search box on the left of your facebook screen. Or, click on the arrow beside 'Friends' along the top of your screen, and then select 'Find Friends'. You'll have the option of finding people on facebook using your e-mail address-books from Yahoo, Hotmail, AIM, Outlook, etc.





Just a note, though. You'll only be able to find the person if he/she has listed that particular e-mail address on their profile, and if he/she hasn't drastically adjusted the privacy settings on their contact info.
