How about asking your friend for it? If they don't want to tell you then you probably don't need to know it. It's their address they can give it out or refuse to give it out as they see fit.

If you can't get a hold of a number, address, or email address without paying for it, ask friends or try getting a hold of family members.. look them up in the phone book or you can try calling 1-866-555-2222. i am sure they give out personal numbers as well as business numbers..good luck and remember never give up. that is how i got a hold of a big sister from big brothers-big sisters.

I am new to the Yahoo community. Can you search people's profiles if you know their email address?
I am thinking along the lines of when everyone had AOL. I am trying to reconnect with an old friend!!

Yahoo! Profiles (also referred to as Yahoo! ID which is also an email address) can be either Public or Private.
You can search public Yahoo! IDs at Members Directory, go to http://members.yahoo.com
Profiles set as "private" will not show up.

How to search for people by email on facebook?
You'll need to use Facebook's Friend Finder, which gives Facebook temporary access to your e-mail address book.
1) Add the e-mail addresses that you want to search for to your e-mail address book if they're not already in it.
2) Go to your Facebook homepage -- the page with the News Feed on it. At the bottom of the right-hand column there should be a box: "Find Your Friends" with the text "Use our contact importer to find friends you didn't know were on Facebook." Click on "contact importer".
3) There are two ways to search for e-mail addresses at this point.
a) If you use a common webmail service such as Yahoo!, Gmail, Hotmail, MSN, or AOL, fill out your e-mail username, select your e-mail provider, enter your e-mail password in the "Web Email" part of the form, and click "Find your Friends" Facebook claims that they won't store your password once they've accessed your address book. If you don't trust them, you can always try option b).
b) If you use a desktop e-mail client such as Outlook or Thunderbird, a less common webmail service, or don't trust Facebook with your webmail password, click the "Desktop Application" link. Facebook provides instructions for most common desktop e-mail clients. In addition, if you don't trust Facebook with your Yahoo! (or Gmail, etc.) password, most webmail services will also allow you to generate contact files. If you have any trouble doing this, I can try to come up with more specific instructions.
4) Facebook will display a list of all of the people in your Address Book who list their e-mail addresses on their Facebook accounts, and you can choose who to friend. but, if they are in your msn/yahoo/gmail address book, then u can 'invite' them to facebook and if they already have fb then it should tell u.
